Dr. Jacob Tsado is a seasoned scholar and passionate advocate for transformation in the criminal justice system. He holds a PhD in Media and Communication and has served as a senior research fellow and Director of Publications at the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Nigeria.

He worked as a probation practitioner in the United Kingdom and served as a chaplain to prisons in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

As a foundation member of Prison Fellowship Nigeria, Dr. Tsado has been integral to the organisation’s growth and impact. He served as Secretary General from 2008 to 2016, contributing significantly to its mission of reconciliation and restoration within the criminal justice system.

Known for his deep faith and a heart devoted to God, Dr. Tsado leads with compassion, conviction, and a vision to bring hope and healing to inmates, ex-inmates, their families, and victims of crime across Nigeria. Dr Tsado is married and blessed with children.
